SnootLog ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.
01 DATA COLLECTION AND STORAGE
SnootLog stores all your pet health data exclusively on your device with optional iCloud sync across your personal Apple devices. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on external servers.
The following data is stored on your device (and optionally in your iCloud):
Pet profiles (names, breeds, photos, birthdays)
Vaccination records and schedules
Medication logs and reminder settings
Vet visit history and notes
Weight tracking data
App preferences and settings
We do not have access to any of the data you enter into the App.
02 ICLOUD SYNC
If iCloud sync is enabled, your pet data syncs across your Apple devices via your personal iCloud account. This data remains under Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions and is not accessible by the developer. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the App settings.
03 ANALYTICS AND TRACKING
SnootLog does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or any form of telemetry.
04 IN-APP PURCHASES
The App offers subscription-based In-App Purchases (Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. All purchase transactions are managed by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
05 NOTIFICATIONS
If you grant permission, the App sends local notifications to remind you about upcoming vaccinations, medication schedules, and vet appointments. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server.
06 PHOTOS AND CAMERA
If you grant permission, the App accesses your camera or photo library to add photos to pet profiles. Photos are stored locally on your device and optionally in your iCloud. They are never uploaded to external servers.
07 DATA SHARING
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any of your information with third parties. When you export PDF health reports, the sharing is initiated entirely by you on your device.
08 DATA SECURITY
Your data is protected by the security measures built into iOS, including device passcode, Face ID, and Touch ID. iCloud data is encrypted by Apple. Since data never leaves your device or iCloud, the risk of unauthorized access is minimized.
09 CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not collect personal information from any user.
10 YOUR RIGHTS
Since all data is stored locally on your device (and optionally in iCloud), you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all App data by deleting the App from your device. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.
11 CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
